So over the past few weeks we’ve been working with the Bryan Bros to create some super-awesome doubles instruction. It will be out around the US Open, so stay tuned =) In the meantime, you can check out some cool pics from the shoot.

After vanquishing Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer gets another shot at Rafael Nadal in the final of the French Open. This is definitely the biggest match in awhile and you could argue that if Federer wins it will be the most important victory of his career.

So Roger Federer’s got a chance to knock off Novak Djokovic and end his ridiculous win streak in the semis of the French Open.

In the video I talk about the tactics I think Federer could have some success with… it revolves around the backhand-to-backhand exchange and actually letting Novak be the aggressor in many situations.

Novak Djokovic has figured it out!

Novak has taken out Rafael Nadal the last four times they’ve played. Twice on a hard court and, more importantly, twice on a clay court.

This video looks at the tactics Djokovic is using to beat Nadal, and how the Serb is uniquely qualified to take out the five-time French Open champ.

Today we hit the court with Murphy Jensen, the 1993 French Open doubles champion (with his brother Luke).

I’ve been getting a lot of requests for some doubles instruction so I figured why not get some tips from one of the best? Murphy walks us through several exercises that will teach you how:

- To cover the net the RIGHT way

- Where to hit your serve and how to close the net

- How to develop fast hands… the “volley reps” you need to do

Some really good instruction here.

Murphy is back as the head coach of the Washington Kastles. If you’re a doubles fan I HIGHLY recommend you make it to a Kastles match this summer. The team features some of the best doubles players on the planet, including Venus and Serena Williams, Leander Paes, and Rennae Stubbs. A lot of grand slam doubles titles between these players.
