In this video we review the Wilson K Blade Tour. This stick is good for an advanced player who places a heavy emphasis on control.
Wilson has done a few things with this racket to give it good control. First, it uses a technology called “Karophite Black,” which makes the frame very strong and reduces the amount it bends at contact. By remaining firm and stable at contact, the ball is likely to deflect off the strings in the direction you want it to go.
Second, the K Blade Tour is very head light — 10 points. It’s easy to swing and very maneuverable. It doesn’t feel heavy in your hand. This helps you be precise with the orientation of the racket when you swing / hit the ball.
Third, this is not a very powerful racket. You don’t have to worry too much about the ball flying long if you take big cuts at the ball. Of course, you have to be the type of player who likes to supply his / her own power. Otherwise, you’re going to be leaving a lot of balls short.
