As some of you may know, several days ago FYB got hacked. The purpose of the hack was to send people to a website selling pharmaceutical products. As soon as we realized what had happened we identified and cleared out the malware. We’ve taken precautions to prevent this from happening again and are working with some programmers to beef up our security in the long term.
I’ve received a number of emails from people saying that Google Chrome, Firefox, and other browsers have alerted them that the website is unsafe. We have submitted a ticket with both Google and Norton to review our website and give it a clean bill of health, but until that happens you will continue to get these warnings.
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who sent me emails about the problem. Visiting a website that’s flagged for malware isn’t cool — in fact, it’s downright annoying — but the emails I’ve received have all been from people who are supportive and understanding. That kind of response means a lot to Adam and me. So thanks.

At least your site is popular enough to be worth hacking!

Mate, an old site of mine was hacked a few weeks ago by fishers. I was contacted by the bank of America saying I had a fishing site on my domain and it needed to be adjusted immediately or the domain was being shut down from the DNS servers. I checked that old domain and yep – there was a bank of America directory in there which was pretending to be them.. Cheeky and unsettling really. Lucky it was an old old site and only had 5 hits that month..
Glad you are back up and running..
