Last Tuesday we had the chance to film a Washington Kastles practice. Below of several videos we produce from the footage we shot. In this video Murphy Jensen drills Victoria Azarenka, Bobby Reynolds, Angela Haynes, and Rennae Stubbs.
You’ll notice that Murphy put two towels on the tennis court. The goal for each pro is to hit the ball in between a towel and the singles sideline, thus keeping the ball out of the middle of the court.
Each pro is working on something a little bit different. Stubbs, for example, doesn’t move side to side. She stays on the ad side of the court because she’s a doubles player and that’s the part of the court she’s responsible for. Interesting stuff!
