1. Extend out in the direction you are hitting.
2. Continue to rotate your upper body until it is facing the net.
3. Bend your elbows and wrap the racket around your shoulders.

From contact, Frank extends out in the direction he is hitting the ball. Notice that his hitting arm position stays the same well into his follow through. As he extends out, his body continues to rotate until he is facing the net. Finally, he wraps the racket around his shoulders by bending his elbows.
I mentioned in the forehand section that, on that particular shot, there are a number of different ways you can follow through depending on the type of shot you are hitting. With the two handed backhand, the follow through is much more consistent. You rarely see someone finish around their waist, for example. The vast majority of the time, the racket ends up around the shoulder.
Not extending out fully in the direction you are hitting.
This typically means you are trying to pull the racket across your body in an effort to follow through. The racket continues into the court after you hit, not across your body. Take another look at the outward extension Frank gets when he follows through.
