Grip Change


How To :


1. Relax hitting-hand grip.

2. Using non-hitting hand (holding the racket at the throat) to rotate the racket until the hitting hand has an appropriate one handed backhand grip.

3. Re-grip racket with hitting hand.

As I pivot and turn my shoulders, I relax the grip of my hitting hand. The racket doesn’t move – I don’t drop it – because I also holding the racket with my other, non-hitting, hand at the throat. I use this hand to rotate the racket until my hitting hand has the correct one handed backhand grip and then I re-grip the racket with that hand. You’ll also notice that as I change my grip, I angle the racket head up – the two happen at the same time.
